$610,000 in Walworth County, Wisconsin Automobile Accident
June 12, 2012
Whiting Law Group is proud to announce that it has achieved a significant settlement on behalf of a 46-year old woman seriously injured in an automobile accident in Walworth County, Wisconsin.
On May 2, 2008, the Plaintiff, Kristine Phillips, was traveling westbound on Wisconsin State Highway A, heading towards the intersection of Highway P in the town of Richmond, Wisconsin. As the Plaintiff was approaching the intersection with Highway P, the Defendant illegally pulled in front of the plaintiff’s vehicle causing serious injuries to the Plaintiff.
As a result of the collision, Mrs. Phillips suffered fractures of her 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th ribs. She suffered a comminuted acetabulum fracture of her right hip (which required open reduction surgical repair), a small subcapsular hematoma of her spleen and post-traumatic stress disorder.
The firm’s founder and Managing Partner, Tim Whiting, spoke of the case:
“As a result of the Defendant’s illegal conduct, Kristine suffered significant and painful injuries. By hiring a top accident reconstruction expert and a top orthopedic hip surgeon, we were able to secure a substantial award for Kristine. I was proud of this result and our team as it is among the best in the country. We worked very hard to ensure that the rights of our client were aggressively protected.”
