As 2015 comes to a close, I am delighted head to St. Augustine, Florida to present at the Florida Justice Association’s Hell on Wheels conference. Focused on truck accident litigation, the FJA conference is its premier event for the year. Invited to present a seminar on cargo securement, my talk is entitled Handling a Load Securement Case When Falling Cargo Causes Harm. The FJA Conference is on December 3-4, 2015.
Improper Cargo Securement Causes Serious Trucking Accidents
As a truck accident attorney, I am well aware that 7% of all serious trucking accidents are caused in part by cargo shifting and/or securement issues. Given the number of truck accidents every year, that percentage represents a great number of people whose lives have been devastated by the negligent actions of truck drivers, trucking companies, shippers, load handlers and others responsible for the safe transport of goods through our neighborhoods and across the country.
A 5-Step Guide to Evaluation and Litigating Loading/Securement Cases
